HMC Section 27-2053(c) requires the name, address (including apartment number) and phone number of the janitor or superintendent to be posted at the building entrance, so tenants know who to call for repairs and emergencies. When the super changes, a new sign must go up within 5 days.
Buildings with 9 or more apartments must provide janitorial service. Smaller buildings that use a janitorial service still post who provides it and how to reach them. We print the name, apartment and phone so it stays readable for years.
